lusting after lanvin: part deux

So I know I've already posted about Lanvin's collaboration with H&M (I'm not excited or anything), but I recently came across these photos of a fellow blogger who was able to get a hold of some of the pieces prematurely that I've been coveting.  By far, my favorite is the hot pink frock!

in good company

At this point in time the collaboration between J. Crew and jewelry designer Lisa Salzer for Lulu Frost is legend.  Jenna Lyons, President and Executive Creative Director of J. Crew had been shopping in L.A when she ventured into Tenoversix where she bought an amazing necklace that prompted her to get in touch with the brand's designer.  From there on out a designer collaboration love story was born with a collection that fused victorian and art deco pieces with modern elements to create the perfect balance between Lulu Frost and J.Crew.  Pieces will be available online and in stores beginning in December for J. Crew's Holiday 2010 season.

Famed Parisienne designer, Alber Ebaz for Lanvin will be debuting his collaboration with H&M in stores on Nov 20th and pictures have been released of his highly anticipated collection.  The line ranges in price from embellished tees at $39.95 to dresses with layers of tulle and chiffon at $249.   The collection is a fantastic mix of structured pieces that still evoke femininity and movement, and I do have to say that his ruffled one-shoulder frocks might just be making their way into my wardrobe.

on target

I'm impossibly giddy right now knowing that Target's Go International line is launching a 34-piece collection in celebration of their designer collaboration's 5 year anniversary.  The collection will be available online and in stores beginning in March and will signal a victory lap for such previously featured designer's as Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen, and Tucker.  I have to say that I'm partial to Rodarte and hoping the duo recreates their leopard print and wispy frocks donned by celebs such as Natalie Portman and Nikki Hilton.
